How do I activate the banner on my store?

After installing, go to your Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes → Customize. Open Theme settings (gear icon), then App embeds, and enable the Consent banner toggle for PlatinumConsent. Save the theme.

How long is the free trial?

14 days. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial you'll be prompted to subscribe for $9/month to keep the app active.

What happens if I don't subscribe after the trial?

The banner will stop appearing on your storefront and script blocking will be disabled. Your settings are saved so everything resumes the moment you subscribe.

Which ad scripts does PlatinumConsent block?

Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Snapchat, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Twitter/X Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Hotjar, and Microsoft Clarity. Google Analytics and GTM are handled separately via Google Consent Mode v2.

Does it work with my theme?

Yes — PlatinumConsent is delivered as a Shopify app embed and injects a single script into your storefront. It works with all Online Store 2.0 themes and most legacy themes.

How do I cancel?

Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin → Apps page. Billing stops immediately and you won't be charged again.

Is my data safe?

We only store your store domain, banner settings, and anonymous consent records (random UUIDs — no personal data). Everything is encrypted in transit over HTTPS and stored securely on Railway infrastructure.
